This is based on me observing the battery level on the remote going up after charging the blind battery. STATUS 0 output here: But at least I can confirm that in my case the remotes connect to the repeaters and I have no battery drain issue (with ZHA). As I have said previously, I wasnt expecting that to make any real difference other than perhaps causing the mesh to form differently, and perhaps mitigate the problem in some way. I do live in an apartment so Im pretty much bathed in every WIFI channel out there. Took out from the drawer the ikea hub, and paired one IKEA dimmer switch and outlet. ```lua We havent been able to fix this but there is a workaround that @hwikene is using. This has worked perfectly for at least 6 months. Now TRADFRI is part of core integration of HA, so I dont have TRADFRI folder in CUSTOM_COMPONENTS folder. However after the update that added ALL the devices and no level shows on the blind. I think what ur7x is saying is that you wont be able to use the remote to run any automations in HA but I could be wrong. The only remaining issue that I have is that only one of the shades is actively reporting its battery level to me, for the other 5 I need to go in and do the cluster fix that has been reported earlier in this thread (although Im not sure if there is something that Im doing something wrong with that as its never updating automatically, if I want a new battery reading I need to go back to the cluster settings and manually click get setting). I installed also 4 FYRTURs 6 weeks ago. I am using the original IKEA repeater at the moment. In my setup, I now threw the gateway out and connected all Tradfri devices to zigbee2mqtt using a 10$ USB stick. It decreases some percents per day while the switch is used sparingly I am too new to Home Assistant (2 weeks as of this post, coming from Hubitat) to have a good solution for a max-open level. If you have figured away to get the buttons to work with the repeaters and not have dead batteries after a few days then you have succeeded where dozens have failed. I'm going to charge one of the blind batteries now and report back. Let us know if that works for you by adding a comment Looks like this is a known bug and is being worked on. Also, paired directly (without any hub) an ikea switch and outlet. Occasionally a light (mostly a Tradfri GU10) gets unavailable in the Phoscon app and can not be switched off/on via Phoscon (or HASS). Is it possbile to restore the connection other then disconnect/connect power? Just to clarify and I forgot to mention is that the buttons I tried on are the 2-button ones. For what its worth, after using the blinds with ZHA for about 8 months and having reliability issues with all of the blinds in each room (3 in one room, 4 in another) opening 100% of the time, I ended up just buying the Tradfri hub and using the official Ikea integration. Im able to control my blinds with IKEA hub and integration. Just wondering is anyone monitoring IKEA or is there some other website that reports what the current firmware is for the buttons and the blinds? I've applied your patch, and I now have the battery reading! I added a few buttons for fixed positions - they do control all three blinds. You can try another fix by removing line 22 of sensor.py: The battery level will show up in the sensor entity. Ive had the back off mine this whole time and the problem remains. _Steps to reproduce the behavior:_ I even think its causing the batteries on the blinds themselves to last longer. The battery percentage of my Philips Hue dimmer switch is running down quite rapidly since I paired it with the (Tasmota) ZbBridge. I used a scanner app to determine quietest, but really its still pretty loud on all the channels here. The small amount of time you spend completing the template will also help the volunteers providing the assistance to you to reduce the time required to help you. When I paired the remotes, I actually paired them in ZHA via the repeater devices. No solution though from what I read. Hmm, I have the same experience as @dmx21. Lessons learned: if you want to use the original remotes and not have them be e-waste straight away, you need to find a way to track the shade position and stop it before it opens too high (open = you can see through the window ). ): Integration: Due to the high number of incoming GitHub notifications, we have to clean some of the old issues, as many of them have already been resolved with the latest updates. Cool stuff: this should work the same between any ZigBee devices. How will we know if IKEA ever fixes this? They have been doing that for over 6 weeks now with my batteries showing 87% in HA. One known issue seems to be that if the IKEA hub goes down for any reason, power, network, ect, the HA integration must be restarted to establish a connection.
