Even though we'd seen the property before actually staying there, the venue exceeded our expectations in pretty much every regard. Huntley Lodge was perfect for our large family to celebrate Christmas together. Very clean and well kept. The Huntley Lodge and Retreat with a private pool! Thanks Laura! The cabins were very comfortable. Some of Washington States best snowmobiling is just a few miles away up the Teanaway Valley or Blewitt Pass. Each Cabin has a Queen Bed and 2 Full Beds! All 35 of us enthusiastically agreed that we want to return next year for our Thanksgiving gathering.
Weather permitted several games of frisbee golf, the hot tub was a joys for several guests, and the trails up the hillside provided for some nice walks outdoors. It was spectacular. We will be returning! There was a lot of snow, and the property is so great we never once left over long weekend. Everythings been great! Glad to hear the corporate retreat went well. Not only was the view to die for, but our family was coming from all over the country and the lodge hosted the perfect gathering place. Mr. Drew, the caretaker is attentive and makes sure our needs are always met. This year "hands down" the entire gang voted to return to the Huntley Lodge next year. Drew met us when we arrived and was very welcoming and supplied us with the answers to any questions that we had. Once again, our family had an amazing experience at the Huntley Lodge! Each duplex has an outdoor covered deck for relaxing and taking in the views. The deck is perfect space for yoga. The cooking & kitchen facilities were fabulous. He even brought lots more firewood when we began to run low. Drew is a valuable asset to the smooth operation! And, the booking photos showed a kids play area which was not there. It fit us perfectly. The Lodge was perfect for indoor activities and gatherings with plenty of room. It was well stocked with supplies and equipment. The wedding itself was hosted on the property and accommodated around 100 guests without a hitch. Our wedding day was perfect and couldnt ask for a better venue to have it! The outdoor living area is supported by a covered outdoor cooking/prep area, entertainment bar and a huge 10 person Hot Tub! I would like to start by saying we had an amazing time and we will definitely recommend this vacation site to friends! I couldn't have asked for a more fun weekend and beautiful venue for our wedding. Couldn't have asked for a better experience and accommodations for our group. Some of our family is already talking about renting the lodge again next summer!

Rooms are quiet and separated with a large lodge-style common area and huge outdoor kitchen and yard to hang out in. The kitchen is well-stocked and the Lodge has lots of activities for everyone. This is our 3rd year throwing our Turducken weekend up at Huntley. Lodge structures are wonderful.
A little more sanding for traction on driveways and walkways would be good. Our staff comes from all over the world, and we cook most of our own meals. We were close enough to the town where we could make emergency safeway runs, but far enough away we felt connected with nature. The facility worked well for all ages - with the Tonka trucks and gravel area for the youngest to comfy lodge for the oldest and everything in between. The onsite care taker, Mr. Drew is fantastic. The lodge was wonderful--very spacious, great views, and all of the amenities you could dream of! Would love to stay again! The cabins are very nice! Our only regret was that when some of us chose to take great hikes and leave the Lodge, the area was excellent but we felt that even though we loved the hikes, we were missing out on relaxation like none other, missing the hang time at the Lodge. The Lodge Building! We have been taking our six grown children and our grandchildren on a getaway each year for the past five years. We had the rehearsal dinner, wedding and the day after to celebrate and relax. We had about 17 people stay the weekend and 40 people at our wedding. The caretaker, Drew, was very helpful. The accommodations are perfect for a large group.
I do know east side of I 90 is dry and dusty, but if the cabins can be dust free, so can the main lodge. My wife and I rented out the lodge for several days before our wedding so that we could spend some extra time with our friends and families, and we are so glad we did! It's going to be a very hard act to follow. Thank you all - from booking to leaving. And right outside is a wonderful balcony to sit on.
In the winter months it can get very icy or muddy depending on how cold it is so make sure you have 4wheel drive for going up some of the steeper hills.
It was the perfect place for our winter wedding! Thanks. Marino was fun and very helpful, he was there whenever we needed him. The only other big feedback is the Jacuzzi. The family came together to honor the family patriarch who had recently passed away. Suggestions: ATT cell phones don't work there so I had to walk down the hill to get reception. The best part for us was the outdoor gathering space and outdoor kitchen. This is the second time we've met at Huntley Lodge for our family reunion. Anyway, we left it cleaner than we found it. The caretaker Drew was super friendly and helpful the entire time. On site staff makes things pretty foolproof. Otherwise, we were very satisfied with our stay. Wonderful property, very well appointed. The staff were very helpful and catered to whatever we needed. We have been coming for years and the property has everything we need for a successful weekend. A couple of staircases should be added to make travel to the upper cabins safer.
Those things aside, we would likely book here again for a similar event. Had a wonderful time with about 30 people in our group and it didn't feel cramped at all. He checked in with us daily, making sure we had everything we needed. All of my guests had a wonderful time and kept saying just how amazing the property was. The caretakers and maintenance guy were responsive and helpful in every situation. A great place to lay back, relax and catch up. The snow-dusted mountains to the east were a beautiful sitht from the great room in the lodge. The only recommendation I would make is to have a separate place for toddlers and children to play, since our small ones didn't have a place. Very clean and everything you would need for a wonderful time, we're already planning for next year.?? Really could use a huge fridge inside lodge and pool table was dangerous with little kids. We were a family with three generations and something for all of us to do between swimming, volleyball, frisbee golf, and hiking. All the guys wanted to take home the outdoor cooking area. So cozy! Thanks so much for sharing this place with us. We relaxed in the 12 person hot tub, watched movies on the large flat screen, and enjoyed several rounds of frisbee golf! Each cabin sleeps up to 6 comfortably. Really appreciated that the owners had well equipped kitchens,appliances, and pretty much everything else needed for a retreat. A few people complained of sore backs on the beds, but the whole arrangment was nicer than many hotels. An annual family gathering at Huntley Lodge, was a great time. Loved the duplexes for more personal space and they do lot even have shared walls! I would have absolutely done it all over again here if given the chance. The cabin and cooking facilities are well suited. Thanks for a great weekend, We enjoyed ourselves in this beautiful location. The centerpiece of the Lodge is the wood burning, stone fireplace and comfortable couches for telling stories late into the evening. Daytime group sizes over 40 will be charged a daily event fee. The property is wonderful for a winter outdoor adventure club like Ski Buddies.

(Please be advised that this property has a 3 night minimum requirement on most summer weekends. What a fabulous review. We enjoyed golf frisbee witch turned into a tour hiking tour of the property. The rooms were clean and nice! We rented the lodge from Thursday-Sunday and had our wedding on Friday. The property was BEAUTIFUL, the onsite staff was super helpful, and the entire place was stocked to the brim with anything we could ask for! The frisbee golf course is overgrown and hard to maneuver through (they need a map of the holes!) It's a perfect location to take a day trip to Leavenworth and it's easy to town in Cle Elum and pick up anything you need. Caretaker was great! Thanks Linda! The entire team at All Seasons Vacation Rentals is friendly, professional, and very accommodating. The two kitchens - inside and outside - handled all of the cooking we needed for our crew. After the second day it was murky and yucky already and we could not use it. We rented Huntley Lodge for a large family Christmas weekend. It sleept all 32 family members perfectly. Great to hear that you voted Huntley Lodge your #1 family destination. My only suggestion would be to have a basic list of equipment & amenities (roughly how many/what sizes of pans/bowls, etc. We hosted an event for 30+ people for our first statewide Democracy Summit. Our large group used it regularly despite it being the middle of winter!
Some appliances in the lodge are showing wear and tear (for example the one of the ovens wasn't working well and the microwave seemed ready to die at any moment) however neither of these things negatively impacted our trip (there were other ovens and each cabin had a nice new microwave) just general things to point out.
Overall I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a fun vacation with a large group. The lawn games, pool and hot tub were icing on the cake. Drew helped us get acquainted with the heating and other systems, so that we were comfortable during the whole three-day stay. We had a small winter wedding weekend at the Huntley. There are granite bar tops that our bartender served drinks from, as well as a flat screen - which we used for an ongoing photo slideshow. The place is quite close to Seattle and good enough for a large group. Our guests and family are already planning our 1 year wedding anniversarry to be here! I wish they had left the bunk beds in some of the cabins. Otherwise- I would absolutely recommend this place for all your events! Caretakers are helpful and friendly. There was so much room in the lodge that our group of 26 was very comfortable. We only found this place online, and so hoped it could be this nice, but the Huntley Lodge was beautiful, the cabins were super nice, and being there was just excellent. We have been to the Huntley Lodge several times before and our large extended family always enjoy our time there. Glad to hear everything worked out well for your extended family. Our group consisted of several families with kids and having a large space to gather, but seperate sleeping quarters was perfect! The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking, the hot tub was a well-used amenity, and the location was beautiful. What a PERFECT choice for us! It was just the right size for the 33 of us. The hospitality is above and beyond. We had so many compliments on the lodge and its facilities!
All and all, our wedding couldn't have been more perfect. The indoor and outdoor kitchens were put to good use, the lodge space separated from the sleeping cabins allowed everyone to have personal time and group time, and despite the warning that internet connectivity was limited, we had no problems at all on the wifi. Would definitely come back. Caretakers were very helpful. Was a pleasure to see all the kitchen items; ie pots/pans,etc. Drew, the caretaker, is friendly and very accommodating. Everyone had interesting activities available, and all remarked on what a perfect facility it was for our purposes. Theres also an over-sized dining table and beverage bar. We look forward to bringing a group back in the future. We took our company on a retreat, to bond and relax for the weekend and they all had a great time. This was our second time renting Huntley and we will be back again next year. The lodge was a nice size and the weather permitted us to cook outside in the awesome outdoor kitchen. Beds were OK. I can't recommend it highly enough. We were able to take full advantage of the out door kitchen. Guests were blown away by the beautiful surroundings and the view off the patio.

In addition, the outdoor kitchen is OUT OF CONTROL (in a good way!)! Sleeping arrangements were great and of course the care taker Marino was always helpful and there if we needed him. There are plenty of sledding hills right on the property and our large group never felt crowded. If we could have possibly had the wedding at the lodge (we had more than the maximum 100 guests) we absolutely would have! The venue is beautiful and being able to house the wedding party and immediate family was a huge bonus. We always have a wonderful time. The amenities such as the outdoor kitchen and tables, and fireplaces and hot tub, just add to the experience. The facility is perfect for this kind of crowd. Marino was very helpful and checked on us periodically and started the fire pit for us both nights. We had a fantastic time at the Huntley Lodge!! You could not ask for a better location for a group meeting for 25 people. The main lodge is stocked with everything you need including a ton of kitchen cookware which made cooking large meals easy. The furniture in the main house is showing it's age. We plan to repeat this again next year. Always a fun weekend for our team retreat! We stayed with 30 of our friends and family at the Huntley lodge for our wedding weekend. 30 of us in all. When any more than 2-3 people were connected, it slowed down to a crawl, and we learned there was a bandwidth cap that prevented us from accessing necessary documents. It cheapens the whole experience, it is so ugly. The cabin had absolutely everything we needed for our party so we did not have to bring anything. Our family reunion was a phenomenal event, three days at Huntley Lodge with everyone happy- the Huntley is so peaceful and well set up for people to gather and spend time in small or big bunches, really hard to imagine until you experience it.
Our only complaint is that the hanging pelts were very disturbing, especially to the young children. the kitchen had everything imaginable to cook with. It was super! Our on-site caretaker said you were great guests and left the property in excellent condition. We very much enjoyed this property, the beautiful setting, the kindness of the staff, and the accommodations. Our group of 8 families greatly enjoyed the Huntley lodge over MLK weekend. The caretaker Darin was superb, very attentive to our needs. Our wedding was all DIY and family run so the huge kitchen, outdoor grilling space, multiple fridges, and storage space were key in the wedding being so successful. This is the third year at Huntley for the Ski Buddies Group and we love it. Cooking facilities--how many ovens, grills, refrigerator/freezer space, toys available, etc.) Just outside the Lodge is an expansive entertainment patio. And special shout out to Drew, who took excellent care of us while we were there. The lodge was a great gathering place where the cousins could all interact and enjoy getting reacquainted and we loved having the whole property to ourselves. Thanks for the great review John! There was so much for everyone to do and it didn't feel like we were cramped and running into each other. Hold your next event at the Huntley Lodge and were confident youll want to return year after year! We reserved the Huntley Lodge and the Teanaway Ranch Guest House for our four day July 2019 Family Reunion. It is in a private and beautiful setting. In fact, I am going to contact them to book a weekend for our family gathering again next year. On site staff amazing to work with. I have already recommended this property to a number of our friends for large family/friend festivities. More than accommodating and you could tell he really wanted everyone to have a good time. We absolutely loved the improved deck and pool! provided as we cooked for 30 people. My chef said the lighter is not working and she almost burned her hand trying to get it going. The care taker Drew was accomodating, friendly and helpful, taking care of all of our needs. I'm so glad your whole family enjoyed it so much. The caretakers are attentive to our needs without being intrusive. The facility worked well for all ages - with the Tonka trucks and gravel area for the youngest to comfy lodge for the oldest and everything in between. The onsite care taker, Mr. Drew is fantastic. The lodge was wonderful--very spacious, great views, and all of the amenities you could dream of! Would love to stay again! The cabins are very nice! Our only regret was that when some of us chose to take great hikes and leave the Lodge, the area was excellent but we felt that even though we loved the hikes, we were missing out on relaxation like none other, missing the hang time at the Lodge. The Lodge Building! We have been taking our six grown children and our grandchildren on a getaway each year for the past five years. We had the rehearsal dinner, wedding and the day after to celebrate and relax. We had about 17 people stay the weekend and 40 people at our wedding. The caretaker, Drew, was very helpful. The accommodations are perfect for a large group.
I do know east side of I 90 is dry and dusty, but if the cabins can be dust free, so can the main lodge. My wife and I rented out the lodge for several days before our wedding so that we could spend some extra time with our friends and families, and we are so glad we did! It's going to be a very hard act to follow. Thank you all - from booking to leaving. And right outside is a wonderful balcony to sit on.
In the winter months it can get very icy or muddy depending on how cold it is so make sure you have 4wheel drive for going up some of the steeper hills.
It was the perfect place for our winter wedding! Thanks. Marino was fun and very helpful, he was there whenever we needed him. The only other big feedback is the Jacuzzi. The family came together to honor the family patriarch who had recently passed away. Suggestions: ATT cell phones don't work there so I had to walk down the hill to get reception. The best part for us was the outdoor gathering space and outdoor kitchen. This is the second time we've met at Huntley Lodge for our family reunion. Anyway, we left it cleaner than we found it. The caretaker Drew was super friendly and helpful the entire time. On site staff makes things pretty foolproof. Otherwise, we were very satisfied with our stay. Wonderful property, very well appointed. The staff were very helpful and catered to whatever we needed. We have been coming for years and the property has everything we need for a successful weekend. A couple of staircases should be added to make travel to the upper cabins safer.
Those things aside, we would likely book here again for a similar event. Had a wonderful time with about 30 people in our group and it didn't feel cramped at all. He checked in with us daily, making sure we had everything we needed. All of my guests had a wonderful time and kept saying just how amazing the property was. The caretakers and maintenance guy were responsive and helpful in every situation. A great place to lay back, relax and catch up. The snow-dusted mountains to the east were a beautiful sitht from the great room in the lodge. The only recommendation I would make is to have a separate place for toddlers and children to play, since our small ones didn't have a place. Very clean and everything you would need for a wonderful time, we're already planning for next year.?? Really could use a huge fridge inside lodge and pool table was dangerous with little kids. We were a family with three generations and something for all of us to do between swimming, volleyball, frisbee golf, and hiking. All the guys wanted to take home the outdoor cooking area. So cozy! Thanks so much for sharing this place with us. We relaxed in the 12 person hot tub, watched movies on the large flat screen, and enjoyed several rounds of frisbee golf! Each cabin sleeps up to 6 comfortably. Really appreciated that the owners had well equipped kitchens,appliances, and pretty much everything else needed for a retreat. A few people complained of sore backs on the beds, but the whole arrangment was nicer than many hotels. An annual family gathering at Huntley Lodge, was a great time. Loved the duplexes for more personal space and they do lot even have shared walls! I would have absolutely done it all over again here if given the chance. The cabin and cooking facilities are well suited. Thanks for a great weekend, We enjoyed ourselves in this beautiful location. The centerpiece of the Lodge is the wood burning, stone fireplace and comfortable couches for telling stories late into the evening. Daytime group sizes over 40 will be charged a daily event fee. The property is wonderful for a winter outdoor adventure club like Ski Buddies.
The only problem was the hot tub. Many thanks to Rhonda and Darren for their warmth and helpfulness!! Lots of fun for all ages! 3 Horsehoe Pits with the Lodge in the background. Had an amazing time. (Please be advised that this property has a 3 night minimum requirement on most summer weekends. What a fabulous review. We enjoyed golf frisbee witch turned into a tour hiking tour of the property. The rooms were clean and nice! We rented the lodge from Thursday-Sunday and had our wedding on Friday. The property was BEAUTIFUL, the onsite staff was super helpful, and the entire place was stocked to the brim with anything we could ask for! The frisbee golf course is overgrown and hard to maneuver through (they need a map of the holes!) It's a perfect location to take a day trip to Leavenworth and it's easy to town in Cle Elum and pick up anything you need. Caretaker was great! Thanks Linda! The entire team at All Seasons Vacation Rentals is friendly, professional, and very accommodating. The two kitchens - inside and outside - handled all of the cooking we needed for our crew. After the second day it was murky and yucky already and we could not use it. We rented Huntley Lodge for a large family Christmas weekend. It sleept all 32 family members perfectly. Great to hear that you voted Huntley Lodge your #1 family destination. My only suggestion would be to have a basic list of equipment & amenities (roughly how many/what sizes of pans/bowls, etc. We hosted an event for 30+ people for our first statewide Democracy Summit. Our large group used it regularly despite it being the middle of winter!
Some appliances in the lodge are showing wear and tear (for example the one of the ovens wasn't working well and the microwave seemed ready to die at any moment) however neither of these things negatively impacted our trip (there were other ovens and each cabin had a nice new microwave) just general things to point out.
Overall I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a fun vacation with a large group. The lawn games, pool and hot tub were icing on the cake. Drew helped us get acquainted with the heating and other systems, so that we were comfortable during the whole three-day stay. We had a small winter wedding weekend at the Huntley. There are granite bar tops that our bartender served drinks from, as well as a flat screen - which we used for an ongoing photo slideshow. The place is quite close to Seattle and good enough for a large group. Our guests and family are already planning our 1 year wedding anniversarry to be here! I wish they had left the bunk beds in some of the cabins. Otherwise- I would absolutely recommend this place for all your events! Caretakers are helpful and friendly. Granite Kitchen with Top End Stainless Appliances. We had a great stay, thanks! there was plenty for everyone to do with horseshoes, Frisbee golf, the outside bar and kitchen, games and the outside firetable. Each of the 8 Bathrooms has a Shower.
The cabins are nice and clean, and it was great for each family to have their own private space to retreat to at the end of the day. There was so much room in the lodge that our group of 26 was very comfortable. We only found this place online, and so hoped it could be this nice, but the Huntley Lodge was beautiful, the cabins were super nice, and being there was just excellent. We have been to the Huntley Lodge several times before and our large extended family always enjoy our time there. Glad to hear everything worked out well for your extended family. Our group consisted of several families with kids and having a large space to gather, but seperate sleeping quarters was perfect! The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking, the hot tub was a well-used amenity, and the location was beautiful. What a PERFECT choice for us! It was just the right size for the 33 of us. The hospitality is above and beyond. We had so many compliments on the lodge and its facilities!
All and all, our wedding couldn't have been more perfect. The indoor and outdoor kitchens were put to good use, the lodge space separated from the sleeping cabins allowed everyone to have personal time and group time, and despite the warning that internet connectivity was limited, we had no problems at all on the wifi. Would definitely come back. Caretakers were very helpful. Was a pleasure to see all the kitchen items; ie pots/pans,etc. Drew, the caretaker, is friendly and very accommodating. Everyone had interesting activities available, and all remarked on what a perfect facility it was for our purposes. Theres also an over-sized dining table and beverage bar. We look forward to bringing a group back in the future. We took our company on a retreat, to bond and relax for the weekend and they all had a great time. This was our second time renting Huntley and we will be back again next year. The lodge was a nice size and the weather permitted us to cook outside in the awesome outdoor kitchen. Beds were OK. I can't recommend it highly enough. We were able to take full advantage of the out door kitchen. Guests were blown away by the beautiful surroundings and the view off the patio.

. We chose to have our July wedding at the Huntley Lodge and are SOOOO happy with our decision!! :) We had lots of help so it was more of a team building exercise for friends and family!
In addition, the outdoor kitchen is OUT OF CONTROL (in a good way!)! Sleeping arrangements were great and of course the care taker Marino was always helpful and there if we needed him. There are plenty of sledding hills right on the property and our large group never felt crowded. If we could have possibly had the wedding at the lodge (we had more than the maximum 100 guests) we absolutely would have! The venue is beautiful and being able to house the wedding party and immediate family was a huge bonus. We always have a wonderful time. The amenities such as the outdoor kitchen and tables, and fireplaces and hot tub, just add to the experience. The facility is perfect for this kind of crowd. Marino was very helpful and checked on us periodically and started the fire pit for us both nights. We had a fantastic time at the Huntley Lodge!! You could not ask for a better location for a group meeting for 25 people. The main lodge is stocked with everything you need including a ton of kitchen cookware which made cooking large meals easy. The furniture in the main house is showing it's age. We plan to repeat this again next year. Always a fun weekend for our team retreat! We had about 40 people in our group and everyone was impressed with how great we were treated by Drew and his team. It was an absolutely gorgeous setting with everything we needed for a fantastic 85 person wedding. This resort is on the rustic side, but with 24 former Girl Scouts, we love rustic! A couple of small things - some of the rooms smelled a little bit like cigarette smoke. We couldn't have asked for a better location. We could not have been happier with how things turned out! We loved this lodge, the cabins and the location and it was the perfect wedding for us. We found it just as delightful this time as we did a year ago. This is in a beautiful location and we would certainly use this site again. Each cabin has a Queen Bed and 2 Full Beds, Each cabin has a mini-Fridge, Microwave, and Coffee Maker. The only downfall was that we could not snowmobile directly from the lodge to the trails. We stayed with 30 of our friends and family at the Huntley lodge for our wedding weekend. 30 of us in all. When any more than 2-3 people were connected, it slowed down to a crawl, and we learned there was a bandwidth cap that prevented us from accessing necessary documents. It cheapens the whole experience, it is so ugly. The cabin had absolutely everything we needed for our party so we did not have to bring anything. Our family reunion was a phenomenal event, three days at Huntley Lodge with everyone happy- the Huntley is so peaceful and well set up for people to gather and spend time in small or big bunches, really hard to imagine until you experience it.
Our only complaint is that the hanging pelts were very disturbing, especially to the young children. the kitchen had everything imaginable to cook with. It was super! Our on-site caretaker said you were great guests and left the property in excellent condition. For the price of the rental, we feel that should be a priority for the owners! Other than quirks with the stereo, no power on the patio, and breakers tripping in both kitchens, we have no complaints. Folks with Verizon had a bar so they were able to call out. The Lodge and grounds are beautiful. wonderful time, only hiccup was no hot tub(it was inoperative). Everyone was so impressed with the facilities. The Huntley Lodge was a great location to have our project completion party, the lodge and cabins were beautiful and there were great amenities. We chose Huntley lodge to host an 80th birthday party for my mother / family reunion. The hottub was hot and the swimming pool large enough for the party of kids. Upstairs in the Lodge youll be greeted by a TV Lounge, additional dining/game table, kids game table and an office for those of you that cant leave work behind! The cabins were super clean and thoughtfully laid out to accommodate family groups. It is an eyesore. The patio and bbq area are really tops.
